Teton Field Science Summer Trip
For any students who are interested in the summer trip to Teton Field School in Wyoming, please read this Teton Handout and visit the Teton School Website. After reading both and discussing the idea with your parents, please feel free to fill out an Tetons Application. We are only able to take 12 students from 8 South so the spots are competitive. If you or your parents have any questions, please feel free to contact me via phone, email, or in person. I also have paper copies at school.

Science
Homework:
We have started our “Autobiography of a Germ” project. While there is no “homework” per say, I strongly encourage students work on identifying and researching their organism’s kingdom. What does this mean? Once a student knows they are a bacteria, virus, protist, etc. they should research that group of organisms. You can’t tell us about your life as a bacteria if you don’t know about bacteria in general. Once they have this background, they will be able to go more in depth into their actual germ’s life.
There are forum topics for them to look up their germ and seek/offer help to others. Take advantage of this resource.
