Community Service Kickoff Presentation

The following are some community service tidbits your fellow classmates have written. They were chosen for no specific reason, so please do not feel left out if yours is not shown.

“I think these quotes are trying to convince others to try and make the world a better place, even if it’s something small like helping out in the community or volunteering at a food shelter.”

“Community service meas helping your environment, people, or the animals around you. Even if it is just a small act of kindness, you can make a place or person better. All we need is to start with one person and we can start something big. We could help out at a homeless shelter or a kitchen and we could also pick up litter. We could get involved with many different groups to make our community a better place to live.”

“I think that community service is meant to make the world a better place. I volunteered at the ScholarShop this summer, which is a used clothing store that turns the money they get into scholarships for smart kids who can’t afford college.”
